The Harbour of Gustavsberg

Gustavsberg is the capital of the Värmdö archipelago. If you are interested in culture, arts and design, this is definitely the place to go. Take a stroll in the colorful harbor, visit antique stores, the Porcelain Museum or outlets where famous brands like Gustavsberg, Iittala and Arabia sell porcelain and kitchen utensils.

In the world of porcelain Gustavsberg has long and famous traditions. The factory was founded in 1825 and it´s products can be found in just about every Swedish household. Some of Swedens most famous designers worked here and much of their work are now eagerly sought after by collectors, not the least the figures by Lisa Larsson. Around the harbor you can find five large outlets: Gustavsberg, Iittala, Orrefors Kosta Boda, Gerbera and Villeroy & Boch.
